At the beginning of September, I decided to start a new website and move to a new host, I came across ROCHEN when looking at Boldgrid hosts and to be honest I had no 'real' idea of what I was looking for or what makes one host better than the other and so on. The initial reason decided to sign up with Rochen was simply because of how cheap it was compared to the others. Nothing more, nothing less.
Fast forward a few weeks and you'll see why I'm writing this review. I had 2 issues both of which were down to my lack of understanding on these things. The first time I accidentally cancelled my hosting account so I sent in a ticket and within minutes I had a reply and it was all resolved. The second issue was relating to Index files in Wordpress, now I'm a complete newbie and I know how easy it is to screw files up, so sent in a ticket and within seconds (and I mean no more than 25 seconds?) I had a reply asking if I'd like them to resolve it for me, fast foward another minute or two and the job was done. No fuss, no stress, just a simple, quick and easy solution to the problems I had (Again, the problems were of my own doing).
Not only did they fix the issues, they also explained what they were, how they occurred, etc. in terms I could somewhat get my head around.
When I set up the ticket, I had a feeling the guys at ROCHEN would be busy, it is Monday Morning after all and I didn't expect the service I received but I'm really glad the people on the ground are flexible enough to make adjustments on the fly to suit my needs whenever I need it. That alone earned some respect.
Overall, my experience with ROCHEN has been nothing short of amazing. I was up and running within minutes of paying for it, and they're super receptive to their customer's issues which is what we all want right? a customer service that offers customer service. Wendy & Sunil were really helpful in resolving my problems.
I'll go as far as to say the service I received from the ROCHEN team is hands down the best customer service I've received full stop.
Hats off to your team, they all deserve a pay rise.
