I am hosting a few simple websites and upto now all is satisfactory..

I'm very happy with the shared hosting package mainly for the low cost and also because of the low latencies from every part of Europe. No downtimes since when I tranfered there.

Very cheap, easy to set up and very responsive support, although the occasionally reboot the machines for maintenance/whatnot.

I bought Hostens VPS Medium service couple of days ago and currently I couldn't be happier. Setup progress went smoothly and I got access to my VPS services almost instantly after I completed paying progress. Hostens web interface is clean and straightforward. It provides all the basic stuff you need to administrate your machine like way to choose your preferred operating system and place to see your ssh default username and password. I chose Ubuntu for my VPS but there is also plenty of other traditional server distributions available. Control panel also provides some handy graphs where you can see some usage information of your machine like cpu and memory usage. Machine itself on the other side of the ssh tunnel feels responsive and solid. I have tested some server softwares and they all ran just fine. Based on my short experience I can recommend Hostens VPS services for everyone. Hostens prices are just so incredibly low and services just work. At least I haven't found anywhere better cost configuration ratio so give Hostens a try!
